This is a collection of 35 "warts'n'all" lo-fi solo piano tracks which I played to get my kids to sleep in 2010/11.

The meandering improvisations range from 3 to 20 minutes in length, depending on how long it took the kids to drop off. Most start with a little more gusto and slowly taper off to help settle the wee ones in their slumber. There are occasional nods to Eno and other ambient artists, as well as some development of ideas a few days or weeks into the collection.

All were recorded with a small recorder sitting on the top of the piano and occasionally include the comforting sounds of a crackling fire during the winter months and dishes being done by my partner - perfect for getting your kids to sleep. They're also great to write or code to.

Contains nearly 6 hours of music.
